Stephen Burton

Stephen Burton is a Director of Stephen J Burton Limited; one of the companies comprising the partnership and is the Head of the Commercial Department.

Stephen joined the firm in 1990 and was promoted to partner in 1992. He became the Head of the Commercial Team in 2002 and in addition plays an active role in the management and day to day running of the firm.

Stephen has an unrivaled reputation for getting the job done no matter how complex or involved. He has numerous long-standing, high net worth clients who trust his judgment and ability to find solutions to get a transaction over the line.

He has built a team of talented solicitors in his department who all follow the work ethic and high standards set by him.

Stephen has over 30 years’ experience advising companies, developers and lenders on a wide range of Commercial transactions.  Including the acquisition of and sale of companies; Commercial property transactions; business sales and acquisitions and management buy outs.
