Megan Hawkey

Megan studied at the University of Law London having been awarded a Scholarship for academic excellence. Megan completed her Law degree on an accelerated two-year course and graduated in 2014 achieving First Class Honours.

She completed her Training Contract with the firm and qualified as a Solicitor in February 2017, immediately joining the busy Commercial Department. Since then, Megan has acquired the necessary skills and experience to enable her to represent both companies and individuals dealing with high value and complex transactions. Her sharp intellect, attention to detail and problem-solving skills have earned her an excellent reputation.

Megan was promoted to Partner in May 2022.

Expertise

Megan has acted for a wide variety of clients including developers, small businesses, landlords, tenants, companies and banks. She recently acted on a complex matter for a developer acquiring airspace for development purposes.

In addition to Commercial Property work, Megan also deals with Residential Lease Extensions Transfers of Equity and Equity Release Mortgages.

Interests

Megan enjoys spending time with her family and friends and walking her dog Sammy.
